Scottish Rite Valleys of Vermont

Valleys are one of the organizational levels that make up Scottish Rite in Vermont. There are four valleys in Vermont. They are the Valley of Brattleboro, the Valley of Burlington, the Valley of Montpelier and the Valley of Rutland. Each Valley is responsible for specific regional area.

In Vermont each Valley is made up of at least three bodies, the Lodge of Perfection, the Council Princes of Jerusalem and the Chapter Rose Croix. Each body is responsible for a set number of degrees; Lodge of Perfection is responsible for the 4° through the 14°. The Council Princes of Jerusalem is responsible for the 15° and 16°'s. Finally the Chapter Rose Croix is responsible for the 17° and 18°'s. The one exception to this three body rule in Vermont is the Valley of Burlington; it also contains the Vermont Consistory.
